The hotel was unique, and I liked helpful staff and airy room. I found fruit juices and croissants to be local. Booked a room with a four poster bed. The location was best possible, close to Gardens.

Staying in this unique castle was a nice experience, especially enjoying the fine views from our room with a triple bay window. The fires were kept burning in the public areas, and the staff were kind and attentive. The room's bathroom facilities were a bit unconventional and could be larger, and some furnishings felt outdated. Dining featured local meats, but the food was hit-or-miss, with some dishes lacking finesse.
